The Asian Psychedelic Closet - Podcast

We are on a mission to de-stigmatize mental health in the Asian community in Western and most importantly in Asian countries. We also want to have Asian voices represented in the mental health and wellbeing industry, in clinical trials, at conferences.

As an Indian growing up, I know how difficult it is to recognize our feelings, accept them, much less express them while appreciating our culture, history, and language..

Plant medicine use has a long history in Asian cultures. Yet, our home countries have the most restrict drug enforcement policy. It’s time for that to change. That change begins with us telling our stories of our life’s ups and downs, without fear.. We don’t need to hide or get permission to be open and vulnerable with the people we care about and love.

In many Asian countries, there isn’t even a direct translation for the phrase “mental health”.

It's through our stories that we can de-stigmatize our inner suffering while being in harmony with our culture and language.

This podcast series is to collect and share our asian stories of life's ups and down, taking charge of our own wellbeing, whether it be through meditation, therapy, psychedelic assisted therapy, or something else.

The stories you tell can be in your own native language (preferred) or english. You can be anonymous and have your voice disguised if you wish. We want to share these stories with people living in the West and more importantly, the East (Asian sub-continent).

I have been very open with my story and been sharing my story as a guest on other podcasts

You can choose how to tell your story. We provide a safe space and platform.
